The ARTM model is the new standard for the dispersion calculation of airborne radioactive materials according to the German Nuclear Act. The program is based on the German Federal Environmental Agency air dispersion model - AUSTAL2000 which is a Lagrangian particle tracking air dispersion model that contains its own diagnostic wind field model.
