- Dr. Jesse Thé from Lakes Environmental, the developer of ISC-AERMOD View, the leading nterface for the ISCST3, ISC-PRIME and AERMOD air dispersion models.

ADVANCED AERMOD AIR DISPERSION MODELING COURSE
AUGUST 20-23, SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA
A 4-day course featuring instruction by Dr. Jesse Thé, Roger Brode and Dr. Akula Venkatram. This course will teach you the fundamentals of AERMOD as well as advanced topics that reveal the intricacies of the model and provide you with complete insight into modeling even the most complex projects with AERMOD.

The Instructors:
Dr. Akula Venkatram, a member of the AERMIC, which is evaluating AERMOD. He is a member of the AMS Committee on Meteorological Aspects of Air Pollution, and is a Professor of Environmental Engineering at UC, Riverside.

Roger Brode of Pacific Environmental Services (PES), the developers of the ISCST3 and AERMOD codes, under contract from the U.S. EPA.

Dr. Jesse Thé from Lakes Environmental, the developer of ISC-AERMOD View, the leading interface for the ISCST3, ISC-PRIME and AERMOD air dispersion models.

ONE-THIRD OF MAJOR US AIR POLLUTERS STILL LACK POLLUTION PERMITS
Nearly a third of all factories, power-plants and other major sources of atmospheric pollution in the U.S. still do not have permits required under the Clean Air Act, according to documents released by the Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER).
