Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure

What is considered a farm under SPCC?

Under the SPCC Rule, a farm is: “a facility on a tract of land devoted to the production of crops or raising of animals, including fish, which produced and sold, or normally would have produced and sold, $1,000 or more of agricultural products during a year.”

Find Out Which SPCC Tier Your Facility Qualifies For?

Complying with Federal and State SPCC Regulations is your responsibility as the facility owner or operator. By answering a few simple questions you can quickly determine if your facility qualifies and which SPCC Tier applies. Also find out if you can self-certify or if PE certification is required.

If you are self-certifying your facility, you must institute methods and frequency of inspections and testing in your SPCC Plan, including monthly, yearly and 5 year interval inspections.
