What restrictions does the complex terrain option impose?

There are two cases which users should be aware of:

  1. The Meteorology option (options in the Meteorology tab) is not available for Complex Terrain. For the Complex Terrain option, SCREEN3 automatically uses stability class F (E for urban dispersion coefficients) and a wind speed of 2.5 m/s.
  2. SCREEN3 uses a receptor height above ground of 0.0m (i.e. no flagpole receptors) for the Complex Terrain option even if a non-zero value is entered. The original receptor height is saved for later calculations.
