METEOROLOGICAL DATA

WRF AERMET/AERMOD-Ready Data

Lakes Environmental employs the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model to compute accurate windfields anywhere in the world. We use the Mesoscale Model Interface Program (MMIF) to convert WRF output into AERMET meteorological data input format. Provided SFC & PFL files utilize surface characteristics taken from the WRF model.

NEED DATA FOR THE CAL3QHCR AND ISCST3 MODELS?

Our AERMET-ready MM5 data is also suitable for use in the PCRAMMET meteorological preprocessor used to prepare met data for the ISCST3 model.

METEOROLOGICAL DATA

WRF CALMET AND CALPUFF-READY DATA

Lakes Environmental provides meteorological data, for any location in the world running the Weather Research and Forecasting mesoscale model (WRF).

We generate 3D.DAT format CALMET-ready from WRF output employing CALWRF. The 3D.DAT file consists of three-dimensional data spanning many vertical layers and covering a horizontal grid and domain specified by the client.

CALPUFF-ready WRF data is generated using the USEPA Mesoscale Model Interface Program (MMIF) and produces data files for direct input to the CALPUFF air dispersion model. Files can be generated for the EPA-Approved modeling system (Version 5) or newer systems (Version 6 & Version 7).
