WRF CALMET AND CALPUFF-READY DATA
Lakes Environmental provides meteorological data, for any location in the world running the Weather Research and Forecasting mesoscale model (WRF).
We generate 3D.DAT format CALMET-ready from WRF output employing CALWRF. The 3D.DAT file consists of three-dimensional data spanning many vertical layers and covering a horizontal grid and domain specified by the client.
CALPUFF-ready WRF data is generated using the U.S. EPA Mesoscale Model Interface Program (MMIF) and produces data files for direct input to the CALPUFF air dispersion model. Files can be generated for the EPA-Approved modeling system (Version 5) or newer systems (Version 6 & Version 7).
