Below you will find answers to the questions we get asked most about our online training courses. 

The course registration fee includes online access to the live course presentation, software use for the duration of the course, an electronic copy of course materials and presentation slides, and a certificate of completion.  

The price to attend one of our online courses is $699.00 US per person. Full payment for the course must be received to confirm your spot. We reduced our course prices for everyone when moving to an online format therefore, we do not offer any additional discounts.

Companies in North America may submit a cheque as payment.  Cheques should be made payable to Lakes Environmental Software and mailed to our office at:

Your cheque must be received before we can reserve your spot in the course.

We accept purchase orders for enrollment, as we understand some accounting departments require an invoice before releasing payment. Once we receive your purchase order, an invoice will be emailed to the course participant. However, please note that submitting a purchase order does not secure your spot in the course. Your spot will only be confirmed once full payment is received.

We do our very best to reach out to you if space in a course is running out and your payment has not been received. If the course becomes full before your payment is received, we will contact you by email and offer to move your registration to the next available course date.

Yes, we can add you to a waitlist providing that you register and pay for one of our available courses. Once payment is received, if a spot becomes available for an earlier course, we will reach out to you by email to verify that you would like to move your registration.

Unfortunately, we do not accept phone registrations for our courses. Please complete all the required fields on our online course registration form. Once submitted, a pre-registration email will be sent to the email address provided in the form with instructions on how to submit payment.

Our software is not included in your course registration fee. Attendees wishing to purchase the software before or after the course can contact our sales department by e-mailing sales@webLakes.com to request a quote. Attendees who have paid in full for a course are entitled to receive a 10% discount off the price of AERMOD View if attending an AERMOD course or CALPUFF View if attending a CALPUFF course. Your purchase must be completed within 60 days of attending the course to be eligible for this discount.

Your registration fee will be fully refunded (less an administrative fee) if cancellation is received up to 1 week before the course. For cancellations received less than one week prior to the course, no refund will be provided.

Our software products are Microsoft Windows-based programs that can be installed on a 32-bit or 64-bit Windows operating system using Windows 10 or higher.  Minimum computer requirements are an Intel Pentium 4 processor (or equivalent) or higher, at least 2 GB of available hard disk space, and 1 GB of RAM (2 GB recommended). PC must have administrative rights. Unfortunately, our software is not supported in a Mac environment.

Our online courses are delivered using the highly secure TAURIA video conferencing platform.  TAURIA requires no download. Attendees will receive a personalized link to access the live instruction via email prior to the course start date, ensuring easy access to TAURIA.

Our online courses are conducted live from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time (Chicago, USA). Please note that recordings are not available.
