The AERSCREEN model estimates worst-case impacts of ground-level concentrations for a single source by interfacing with the screening mode built into the AERMOD executable. AERSCREEN produces several different output files which can be assessed and analyzed using the advanced output viewer of Lakes Software’s AERSCREEN View application.
One feature of Lakes Software applications that our users have come to appreciate, is the wealth of customization options available to provide high quality visualization of model output. Beyond the usual drawing tools for adding model objects, each application contains a set of Annotation Tools which allow users to add additional objects to the main display.
The AERSCREEN model is very efficient but it only processes a single source per run. To address this limitation, AERSCREEN View includes the Scenario Wizard which allows modelers to quickly create any number of model runs for analysis.
